We had so much fun learning about weather this week! We used our Weather Journals to explore the sun, wind, rain, clouds, and rainbows! Below we pretended to be the wind and measure how far we could blow a pom-pom with the help of one of our Gibault Senior Project students, Grace. Then we did a little Kinder-science when we made a replica of a cloud by putting a bar of IVORY soap in the microwave for 90 seconds...you have to try it! We rolled dice and made towers and put them in order for Math Journal time and listened to some weather stories read by Taylor, our other Gibault student. We sure will miss those lovely ladies! Finally, we talked about rainbows and got to "Taste a Rainbow" after we counted and graphed the Skittles Mrs. Herrmann gave us. Who knew learning could be so delicious!?!
